What kind of culture can be counted as our core culture? In our petrochemical port storage business, service is the cornerstone of our development; In our chemical distribution business, from buying to selling, we create added value through mobile services; In our chemical transportation business, we must guarantee the quantity and quality of goods, must delivery in time and put high demands on quality. Essentially, all operations of our company revolve around service. This essence consists of two aspects:"serving with sincerity" and "every client". All employees must bear such opinions in mind — credit first, honesty first, customer-oriented and service-focus. We must adhere to all these principles in work, which should also be advocated by all trading companies.
In early 2005, we ordered 3000MT benzene from a multinational company at an agreed price of USD680/MT. At the same time, we reached a verbal sales agreement of 1500 MT benzene with a petrochemical company. However, the price of benzene quickly rose to over USD1000/MT, the multinational company did not deliver to us, but we still delivered to downstream enterprises goods which purchased at high prices from the market even though we just made an oral agreement. Promises must be counted—this is integrity, and this is exactly the essence of our integrity-based culture.
Only by adhering to the principle of win-win cooperation can we achieve long-term partnerships. We always emphasize sharing of resource, information and benefit instead of making money for ourselves while causing loss to others, since it is our opinion of value that profits should be created and shared by all. I believe our cultural construction can be said to have been indeed implemented as long as we provide sincere service to all customers. To conclude, I propose that the core culture of our company be " Service Every Client with Our Utmost Sincerity ".
