Nantong Chemical & Light Industry Co., Ltd. was established in July 1963, and was restructured in 1997 with a registered capital of CNY 101.16 million.Since its inception, the company has consistently upheld a business ethos rooted in "integrity as the foundation". It has earned an outstanding reputation in the commercial community by consistently fulfilling its commitments: making timely and full payments to domestic and international suppliers; delivering products on time with guaranteed quality, accurate quantity, and fair pricing; and repaying financial institutions promptly and in full.

In its chemical distribution business, the company has established 13 chemical divisions and several trading subsidiaries. Today, it is one of the largest chemical distributors in East China, North China, and South China. In the petrochemical port storage sector, the company has invested in and set up warehousing subsidiaries at key ports along China's eastern coastline and the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, serving as a critical hub for chemical logistics. Mr. Luo Delong, the honorary chairman of the company, changed his career in 1978 and worked in Nantong Chemical & Light Industry Co., Ltd. Since 1986. Over the years, Mr. Luo Delong has always maintained his military qualities and has the courage to innovate, he strives to be first-class and has led the company to win first place in many operation indexes of the industry in China. He goes deep into the market and explores boldly, making the enterprise internationally competitive and occupying a place in the field of large-scale chemical distribution; he attaches great importance to the cultivation of corporate integrity culture, insists on doing business in good faith, and conducted business with honesty, the company has no record of breach of contract over these years. He meticulously creates the integrity brand of the company, vigorously promotes the construction of company culture of " Service Every Client with Our Utmost Sincerity ", and constantly enhances the core competitiveness of the company.

Mr. Luo Delong has received numerous honors and recognitions: He was awarded the title of "National Model Worker in the Domestic Trade System" jointly by the former Ministry of Domestic Trade and the Ministry of Personnel, and was also honored as a "National Model Worker" by the State Council. He was named "Person of the Year in the Chemical & Light Industry Circulation Sector" by the China Chemical & Light Industry Circulation Association. He received the title of "Outstanding Private Entrepreneur of Jiangsu Province" from the Provincial Entrepreneurs Association. He served as a deputy to the 11th and 12th National People's Congress of Nantong City and was recognized as an "Outstanding Private Entrepreneur in Nantong City over the 40 Years of Reform and Opening Up" by the Nantong Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China. In July 2007, Mr. Luo Delong attended the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army and the Military Hero Models Congress in Beijing, where he was warmly received by the Party and state leaders. He was awarded the "70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China" commemorative medal by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the State Council, and the Central Military Commission, and the "50 Years of Glory in the Party" commemorative medal by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.

In 1987, Mr. Luo Delong led his team to explore the international market, which opened the prelude to international trade for the company.

In 1988, Mr. Luo Delong introduced the internal banking mechanism and implemented secondary accounting, which paved the way for the company to gradually develop towards a market economy.

In 1991, Mr. Luo Delong led the team in constructing a 25000-ton petrochemical terminal and a large-scale chemical storage tank area, which filled the gap in specialized petrochemical terminals along the Yangtze River.

In 2000, Mr. Luo Delong took a photo in front of the square of the Great Hall of the People after being awarded the"National Model Worker" by the State Council.

In 2007, Mr. Luo Delong was specially invited to attend the Third Military Hero Models Congress, which was held by the headquarters of the Chinese People's Liberation Army in the auditorium of the Central Military Commission.

In 2012, Mr. Luo Delong was awarded the title of "2011 Gold Medal Private Entrepreneur" by the Municipal People's Government.
